Gargoyles® Performance Eyewear “Do the Right Thing”™ Limited Warranty

Gargoyles® Performance Eyewear sunglasses are built to last. But if anything ever goes wrong with yours, we will do what it takes to make it right. With Gargoyles® Performance Eyewear “Do the Right Thing” Warranty, we make it simple for you to resolve any issues with damaged or unusable sunglasses, whether it’s due to manufacturer’s defect, or even user error.

We also back the quality of our Gargoyles® branded accessories. All accessories come with a 90 day warranty against manufacturer’s defects; we are not responsible for poor fit.  Refer to our “Returns and Exchanges” information.

(A) 2 Year Limited Warranty against Manufacturer’s Defects

If you have a problem with your Gargoyles® sunglasses that is due to breakage from a manufacturer’s defect*, and you return it within two years of the original date of purchase, send us a copy of your original dated receipt as proof of purchase together with the sunglasses and your contact information (name, address, phone number and e-mail address) to the address below, and we will replace them free of charge.

*Manufacturer’s defects are rare, but they do happen. Determining whether the issue is due to manufacturer’s defect lies within the sole discretion of Gargoyles® Performance Eyewear. Any alteration of the product will void this warranty.

The following are not covered by the warranty:

Scratched lenses, lost screws, improper use, accidental breakage, prescription lenses, normal wear and tear, accidental damage like dropping them, your dog chewing them, or running over them with your mountain bike. These scenarios are not covered under this part of the warranty (full replacement), but read on…we want to Do the Right Thing™.


User Error, Accidents, Etc.

(B) Can we still help you if the problem is not a manufacturer’s defect?

YES. Again, we strive to Do the Right Thing™  for all our customers.If you drop your Gargoyles® sunglasses in the midst of a packed 10K race, or run over them in the driveway as you set off for your camping trip, or anything similar that is NOT a manufacturer’s defect, we can help.

Just send us your Gargoyles® Performance Eyewear, along with a copy of the original dated receipt, if you have it, and your contact information (name, e-mail address, and phone number), and we will contact you to offer you 50% off your next pair of Gargoyles® sunglasses. It’s the right thing to do. If we no longer make the style you were enjoying, we will do our best to get you into something with a similar style and function from any of the current sunglass styles shown on at 50% off the regular price.

(C) Can we still help you if it’s after 2 years from the original date of purchase?

Again, YES. If you purchased your sunglasses more than 2 years ago, please refer to Part (B) above and ENJOY YOUR NEXT PAIR OF GARGOYLES® PERFORMANCE EYEWEAR.
